Magnetic wall strips for hanging art, photos and more

Kids’ artwork is what most people buy them for, but a magnetic strip holds anything paper-thin: school photos, instant-camera prints, certificates, holiday cards, or the fridge magnets you’ve collected on trips. Swap things in and out as often as you like. For sizes and styles chosen around children’s art, see our kids art display page.

Works like a bulletin board, without taking over the wall

In a home office, a kitchen or a family command center, a strip or two gives you a place for calendars, invitations, school schedules and reminders. It takes up far less wall than a full corkboard, and the magnets do the job of push pins without leaving holes in anything.

“Really cute solution for a blank wall in my office and the endless amount of artwork that comes home with my kids.”
— Liz

They don’t have to go on a wall, either. One customer mounted a strip on the wood panel beside her refrigerator:

“Our fridge is not magnetic and the side is covered with wood cabinetry. This worked perfectly to stick on the wood side of the fridge with command strips so we could keep our cards and invites safe!”
— Ranjani

Frequently asked questions

Will the magnets hold a full sheet of paper?

Yes. One magnet holds a standard sheet of printer or construction paper. Very large or thick pieces are the exception; for cardstock or heavily painted pieces, use two or three magnets.

Can I use these as a magnetic bulletin board?

Yes. Many customers use them for calendars, invitations, school schedules and reminders. A strip takes up much less wall than a full board, and the included magnets work like push pins without the holes.

Do they work for photos?

Yes. Prints, school photos and instant-camera photos all hold with a single magnet.

Will regular fridge magnets stick to them?

Yes. Any magnet that sticks to a refrigerator will stick to these, so they also work for showing off a travel magnet collection.

How far do they stick out from the wall?

They mount flush against the wall, so nothing catches a shoulder or a backpack strap in a hallway.

What's included?

Your set of 2, 3 or 4 strips in one length and color, 9 push-pin style magnets per strip, and mounting screws with drywall anchors, color-matched to your finish.

Can I hang them without drilling?

Yes. Every size weighs under a pound, so adhesive picture-hanging strips (not included) are a popular way to hang them, especially in rentals.
